Access Covers Australia’s Precast Switchboard & Substation Pits provide a heavy-duty underground foundation and cable management solution for electrical switchboards, substations, Main Switchboards (MSB), Ring Main Units (RMU) and other electrical infrastructure.
Designed and manufactured to suit individual project requirements, each pit can be configured around the equipment, cable routes, site conditions and installation requirements of the project.
Available in custom lengths, widths and depths, our precast pits provide a controlled, factory-manufactured alternative to constructing complex concrete chambers on site. Pits can be manufactured as a single structure or, for larger installations and restricted site access, designed in multiple sections for efficient transport and installation.
